Dries quickly when out in the sun only, otherwise stays damp and transfers to other items like a cotton towel does. I have to spray the towel down with anti-static spray when dried on low. Does absorb effectively after getting wet.

Most beautiful towel ever! I love that I can use it as a yoga towel, or even at the beach.
